Cookie Policy
This policy explains how EveryHello uses cookies and similar browser technologies. A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, which can remember a preference without setting a traditional cookie.
1. Essential technologies
These are required to provide the site and service and cannot be disabled through our banner. They include:
- authentication cookies used by Supabase to keep users signed in and protect accounts;
- everyhello-locale, which remembers a dashboard language preference;
- everyhello-cookie-consent, which stores your analytics choice;
- embedded-widget local storage, which keeps a pseudonymous visitor identifier and remembers whether that business's chat panel was open;
- security, load-balancing, and temporary workflow storage needed to operate requested features.
2. Analytics and advertising measurement
If you select Accept analytics, we enable Vercel Analytics and Google Ads measurement. These tools help us understand aggregate site use, diagnose performance, and measure whether an ad led to a visit or signup. They may receive information such as your IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, timestamps, referring page, and conversion events.
These tools remain off until you opt in through the cookie banner. We do not load them in the embedded EveryHello chat widget.
3. Changing your choice
You can clear the everyhello-cookie-consent entry in your browser’s site-data settings to show the choice again. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or other product features from working.
4. Browser privacy controls
Browser settings, content blockers, and device privacy controls may limit these technologies. When your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, EveryHello treats it as a request to keep optional analytics and advertising measurement disabled. The privacy-choices control on our site remains available for other supported preferences.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our technology or providers change. We will post the new effective date here.
